Getting your DVDs onto your iPod, Apple TV and your PS3 just got easier. HandBrake 0.8.5b1 was just released now supporting the AppleTV and PS3. HandBrake is an open-source, GPL-licensed, multiplatform, multithreaded DVD to MPEG-4 converter, available for MacOS X, Linux and Windows. Handbrake now features surround sound, chapter markers and more (see screenshots). For a complete list of HandBrake changes see this PDF.
